Several types of fish are found casting into the river on Grandpa's Farm. On the Grandpa's Farm map, Grandpa's Shrine is hidden behind the waterfall to the right of Grandpa's Shed. See the quest section below for more details on unlocking it. It is initially inaccessible until the player has a gold pickaxe or higher, due to a meteorite that has landed on the front stairs. Grandpa's Shed is now included on the farm in the northwest corner. If not, a large L-shaped portion of the interior crops will be lost after playing a day and saving. If changed, this file will need to be re-edited after updates. This new interior layout has been redesigned, with more room for crops and 13 dedicated fruit tree planting spots. By editing the "larger greenhouse" option in the \ Grandpa's Farm\config.json file from "false" to "true" you can access a larger interior. The interior defaults to the game's original version. The player will need a copper axe to reach it. The greenhouse is now located in the western part of the farm and has a stone bridge which leads to it. Much like the Forest Farm map, the western side of this farm (across the small stone bridge) can spawn forageables. It is located in the upper middle of the map, next to the staircase which leads north. Unlike normal fruit, ancient fruit has a 98% chance of spawning from a seedmaker if you put an ancient fruit in.The cave where Demetrius sets up his experiment. Grow it, preferably in the greenhouse, then use the seed maker to turn the fruits into seeds. I use a few quality of life ones like that. How do I obtain enough ancient fruit seeds to fill up the greenhouse? It produces honey if its modded. I was planning on building a shed for my kegs. Also, honey doesn't produce in the greenhouse (according to the Wiki). I wouldnt put kegs in there (thats what coops and barns are for) but yeah I see now that hops are somewhat inefficient, but I am going to stick with them for a little while and see how I like them. And since they have a trellis they use the greenhouse inefficiently even with the 15x15 mod. The image i linked is pretty efficient as trellis farming in the greenhouse gets. Imo opinion planting any of the berries or ancient fruit is still max profit for minimum effort. Are there other or better crops to plant? Well since the nerfs hops are pretty high up there for making money but are high maintenance. What is the stipulation against hops in the Greenhouse? I thought that since they produced every day, it was easy, constant gold. Originally posted by Metadragon:hops? Oh I thought it was generally agreed upon to put constant producers like Strawberries, Blueberries, Cranberries or Ancient Fuit (though I haven't played it since the nerf).
